GEOGRAPHY QUEST 2

This book continues the gentle entry of the child into the world of a geographer with the use of appropriate language. The spiral approach to Geography begun in First Class continues with activities designed to ensure that they can be answered by children across the ability spectrum with minimum direction from the teacher, thus reducing management difficulties, particularly in multi-grade classes.
This Geography Quest series complements the History Quest series and the Science Quest series to provide a comprehensive programme of S.E.S.E. activities for children.
The series meets the emerging needs of pupils and teachers by identifying the Strand Units/Objectives on the first page of each unit. Suggested integration with other subjects of the curriculum are given at the end of each unit. The authors are aware of the importance of language development in the revised curriculum. Consequently, new terms and geographical vocabulary that children will encounter are identified throughout the series and are highlighted in the Key Vocabulary section of each unit.
